Poverty is complex. Helping isn't.

Meet Hamidatu. Every morning, Hamidatu, 13, walks 30 minutes to an open dam to fetch water for her family. Most days, she and her sister make the trip three or four times, carrying heavy containers home. The water can make her too sick for school. When the dam dries up in the dry season, she misses whole days of class.
