lawyer, entrepreneur, Canadian
Mark is an experienced executive and general counsel. In fact, he was recently general counsel at Toronto Community Housing, where he led a team of 60 in legal, risk-management and procurement. Throughout his career, he’s worked in private practice and as in-house counsel for companies in Toronto and Vancouver.
In his spare time, he founded, and continues to operate a clothing line, which is available across Canada.
Mark has earned degrees in economics (University of Toronto) and law (University of Ottawa) as well as a master of laws (York University).
Mark dedicates much of his time to community service, even stepping outside his comfort zone to raise money for our cause. For example, he's sported a (long) beard of 12,000 honeybees to raise money in support of the construction of a digital library in India.
