Canada office update

  • Staff from our Markham, Ont., office continue to work from home
  • We’re processing mail and donations at the office weekly, following social-distancing guidelines
  • As always, our donor-relations’ team remains ready to meet your needs (See below for contact details)

Country office update

  • We’re closely monitoring the situation in the countries where we have sponsored children and continuing to assess and support evolving needs
  • We’re providing: lifesaving education to protect against the virus; personal-protective equipment for healthcare workers, children and families; food rations and cash vouchers for those who have lost income and the means to feed their children; child-protection support through psycho-social care; and supplies to continue children’s education
  • Staff from all our offices — in Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Nicaragua and Paraguay — have been working from home when possible
  • Our local partners are working from home when possible
