What’s his role and connection to the cause?
The dedicated “servant” leader has worked with marginalized communities for more than 15 years. And, his commitment shows as he’s received awards and recognition from organizations where he’s led program implementation that changed lives for the better.
A Children Believe teammate for 10+ years, Lemma previously provided guidance and leadership as our new business development manager and director of programs. Before that, he built his skills as a development study facilitator and project manager at various not-for-profit organizations spanning healthcare and international development.
In his current role, Lemma provides leadership to our team in Ethiopia. He also gives oversight on program implementation and development while guiding business growth.
What academic work set him up for success?
The certified international project manager earned a master of science in agriculture and bachelor of science in plant science from Haramaya University in Ethiopia. He also studied rural development at India’s Institute for Rural Management and project management at the American Academy of Project Management.
