How does the world see you and me?

Watch two girls of different faiths tell us what unites them

It’s more important than ever to come together rather than be divided by inequality. Just ask two youth who did just that in a spoken-word performance.

“We’re just a little too caught up in the way the world sees us,” say the friends, one Muslim and one Jewish, who show us how much stronger we can be if we join together.

It’s something we believe at Christian Children’s Fund of Canada (CCFC) where we support vulnerable children, families and communities regardless of their faith, culture or ethnic background. Read more about that here.

Watch the video below by Washington’s Search for Common Ground to see why we love to see youth speaking up and giving a voice to their dreams for their world.

ABOUT CHILDREN BELIEVE:

Children Believe works globally to empower children to dream fearlessly, stand up for what they believe in — and be heard. For 60+ years, we’ve brought together brave young dreamers, caring supporters and partners, and unabashed idealists. Together, we’re driven by a common belief: creating access to education — inside and outside of classrooms — is the most powerful tool children can use to change their world.
