In our fast- paced world, finding the time to volunteer can seem daunting. Yet, the rewards of volunteering are immeasurable, both for communities we serve and for ourselves. At Children Believe, we believe volunteering isn’t just about individual efforts –it’s about harnessing the power of community to create a collective impact. When we come together with a shared goal, we have the power to achieve extraordinary things and drive positive change!

Adam Kruszynski, a dedicated volunteer with Children Believe, shared his perspective on the true value of volunteering. “I think about what gives the most value and what’s going to make the biggest impact. That’s more important than thinking about how convenient the experience is for me,” he says. His words echo the sentiment shared by countless volunteers who find fulfillment in making a difference beyond the confines of their own lives.

For me, as Children Believe’s volunteer coordinator, nothing brings me greater satisfaction than collaborating with our volunteers to ensure the success of our events. Bringing together a diverse group of individuals to support a common cause can be a whirlwind of activity, especially in the lead-up to a major event. Yet, throughout the hustle and bustle, there’s a sense of fulfillment that comes from knowing we’re working together to make a meaningful impact.

What truly warms my heart is receiving feedback from both attendees and volunteers themselves, expressing their enjoyment of the event and their eagerness to participate in future events as well. It’s moments like these that reaffirm the importance of our collective efforts and the positive effects they have on our community.

By dedicating our time, skills, and energy to causes aligned with our passions, we can actively contribute to the enhancement of society. As Adam emphasizes, “Volunteering is a much broader way to help than just donating. There are so many ways you can help, that connect with who you are and makes a tremendous impact.”

Working hand in hand with our dedicated volunteers, we create experiences that leave a lasting impression and inspire continued engagement. From the smiles on participants’ faces to the togetherness felt throughout, volunteering with Children Believe is a testament to the power of collaboration and the difference we can make when we come together for a shared purpose.

Let’s remember that every moment of collaboration, every smile shared, and every heart touched is a testament to the impact we can make when we unite for a common cause.

So, let’s continue to harness the transformative power of volunteering, to inspire change, foster resilience, and build a brighter future for children and communities worldwide.

Join us in our mission to ignite hope and create a world where every child has the opportunity to thrive.

Sharing is caring:

Children Believe works globally to empower children to dream fearlessly, stand up for what they believe in — and be heard. For 60+ years, we’ve brought together brave young dreamers, caring supporters and partners, and unabashed idealists. Together, we’re driven by a common belief: creating access to education — inside and outside of classrooms — is the most powerful tool children can use to change their world.

About ChildFund Alliance:
