What’s his life’s work?
Allan is the Director of Philanthropy at the Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation. He has spent his career raising funds and awareness in support of our most vulnerable populations, both here in Canada, and around the world.
Allan serves his community through his involvement with parasports in Toronto and in the children’s ministry at his church. For Allan, it is “all about the kids!”
What academic role set him up for success?
Allan holds an Honors B.A. in Political Studies from Trent University, and an MDiv from Tyndale Seminary. He considers himself a life long learner and holds a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) designation in support of his fundraising and development career.
Interesting tidbit
Allan and his wife Joanna have two adopted children from Vietnam and it is their favorite destination for travel.
