Meet Mekides, a bright and energetic 10-year-old girl from Ethiopia. Born on February 4, 2015, Mekides is currently attending elementary school. She eagerly walks to school each day, ready to embrace her studies and enjoy her time with friends. Mekides has a passion for playing sports and loves the excitement and teamwork that comes with it. Mekides lives with her mother, who works as a casual labourer. Her father also contributes to the family as a casual labourer. With her supportive family, Mekides is encouraged to pursue her dreams and make the most of her education. She is a spirited young girl with a love for learning and a zest for life.
