Why the world needs dreamers

Encourage kids to dream for inspiration.

The world would be a much different place if we didn’t dream big. That’s what the Kid President, a YouTube star, reminds us in this classic video from his youth. And, we couldn’t agree more.

“I hope you’re out there with a great dream, because what if we lived in a world without dreams?,” he asks in the video. “Things can be better. Things don’t have to be like they are.”

At Children Believe, we hope to convey that same hope to the children we help. We support thriving communities, advance child rights and protection, promote equality for girls and partner with children for change, so all kids can go to school and dream of a brighter future.

Watch the video from the Kid President, who gave children a voice in the world. Visit childrenbelieve.ca/about-us/what-we-do to learn more about how we’re helping kids around the world do the same.

About Children Believe

Children Believe works globally to empower children to dream fearlessly, stand up for what they believe in — and be heard. For 60+ years, we’ve brought together brave young dreamers, caring supporters and partners, and unabashed idealists. Together, we’re driven by a common belief: creating access to education — inside and outside of classrooms — is the most powerful tool children can use to change their world.
