As Chair of the Board of Directors, I’m honoured to share a message of gratitude and celebration with you through ChildVoice.
This past year reflects our shared commitment to creating lasting change for children, families, and communities around the world. Together, we’ve begun our new seven year strategy to strengthen and expand life-changing programs — all while maintaining the highest standards of transparency and stewardship.
This past year, Children Believe directly reached more than 1.7 million people across eight countries, namely, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Ghana, Honduras, India, Mali,
Nicaragua, and Paraguay. Through our child-centered, family-focused approach, we have worked alongside children, families, and community members to expand access to education, healthcare, child protection, and economic opportunities, helping to break cycles of poverty and injustice.
Our financial practices are guided by transparency, accountability, and good stewardship — ensuring every dollar you give makes the greatest possible difference. Seventy-five percent of donations supported programs that change lives, 15 percent sustained fundraising to keep that impact growing, and 10 percent ensured efficient and transparent operations. Together, this balance allows your generosity to reach farther and last longer.
Last year, we invested over $25 million across our program countries, with 67.2 percent of those funds directed to Sub-Saharan Africa, where the need is greatest. Our largest investment, 45 percent of program spending, supported health, nutrition, and WASH initiatives, benefiting more than 590,602 children, parents, and vulnerable individuals. Education programs accounted for 36 percent of spending, enabling 634,922 children, youth, and adults to access quality learning opportunities.
We’re proud that more than 80 percent of our program resources are delivered through trusted local partners, ensuring change is led and sustained by the communities themselves. Our impact-tracking systems help us learn from every project and ensure progress lasts.

It’s a reminder that while poverty is complex, helping isn’t — and your belief continues to make all the difference.
