⌛Where Are They Now: Rocio’s journey from sponsored child to chef and culinary success

Good food can open many doors. I own a confectionery and ice cream shop, which I want to grow and expand. I’m also still studying at the same time, preparing for the next steps of my thesis defense so I can receive my university degree in gastronomy. I want to specialize in professional haute pastry.

I love gastronomy because it teaches me about various culinary cultures and connects me with people from different places. It is also a career in which you can learn entrepreneurship by opening a restaurant.
