Sponsor support can help in so many ways. Just ask John, who spoke with TSN’s James Duthie, a Children Believe volunteer ambassador, a few months ago in the video below.

The father of two girls was able to replace his crumbling family home in Ethiopia with a new one, thanks to help from his daughter’s sponsor. “This (new) house is much better than the old house,” John explains. “It’s reinforced with cement. My family could live in this house for more than 70 years.”

And, that wasn’t the only way this caring sponsor supported his sponsored child and their family. Watch the video below to see how another gift is giving them the opportunity to generate income.

About Children Believe

Children Believe works globally to empower children to dream fearlessly, stand up for what they believe in — and be heard. For 60+ years, we’ve brought together brave young dreamers, caring supporters and partners, and unabashed idealists. Together, we’re driven by a common belief: creating access to education — inside and outside of classrooms — is the most powerful tool children can use to change their world.
