You can help children dream fearlessly

Help children access an education, and enter for the chance to win a trip to see our work in action

At Children Believe, we empower vulnerable children around the world to dream big by giving them access to an education that can change their future. And, today, you can help them realize those dreams through our Chalkboards-for-Change contest.

“Chalkboards for Change illustrates how education can help propel dreams into reality. We urge everyone to come together, share their childhood dreams, and join our mission to empower children to live and dream fearlessly,” says Dave Wilson, interim CEO, Children Believe.

Rally behind the 260-million children who do not get to go to school, and spread the word about inspiring others to help children access an education today.

It’s easy: visit childrenbelieve.ca/chalkboards-for-change (or email chalkboardsforchange@childrenbelieve.ca), submit your childhood dream in the form provided, be entered in a draw to win a trip for two to see our work, then spread the word online.

Share your childhood dream with the hashtag #ChalkboardsforChange on FacebookInstagramTwitter, and get the word out about keeping children in school.

And, if you’re in the neighbourhood, drop by the following locations, and jot down your childhood dream on our giant chalkboards:

Toronto Eaton Centre – February 25-27
Calgary’s Chinook Centre – March 11-13
Halifax Shopping Mall – March 25-27 (postponed until further notice)

You can also help make change today. Sponsor a child, and provide access to education right now.

About Children Believe

Children Believe works globally to empower children to dream fearlessly, stand up for what they believe in — and be heard. For 60+ years, we’ve brought together brave young dreamers, caring supporters and partners, and unabashed idealists. Together, we’re driven by a common belief: creating access to education — inside and outside of classrooms — is the most powerful tool children can use to change their world.
